investments and successfully navigating its acquisition—a
milestone she accomplished as both a shareholder and technical
director.
As Director and Chief Technology Officer at
an online accounting software company, Debola played a key role
in developing cloud-based, user-friendly accounting solutions
tailored for accountants, SMEs, and organizations. She was
instrumental in the success of LiquidAccounts, a scalable
accounting platform, and significantly contributed to the
development of the UK’s HMRC Making Tax Digital (MTD) system.
Under her leadership, LiquidAccounts became one of the first
companies to help test and validate HMRC's MTD system,
shaping the future of digital tax reporting.
